ON SEPTEMBER 16TH the efforts, the challenges and the value of private employers and the self-employed were recognized in discussions and meetings, led by House Minority Leader John Boehner and Congressman Pete Sessions, the Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
It was an opportunity to educate the public – and Congress – on private employers’ crucial role in our economy, to publicly recognize the hard work of private employers and the self-employed who create up to 80% of all payroll jobs in the U.S. and to tell Nancy Pelosi loud and clear that we want our Pro-Employer Agenda turned into law.
